Fine Civil War era photograph of a distinguished looking gentleman. The sixth plate image is a clear glass ambrotype. The image is housed in a thermoplastic case of outstanding quality and condition with its only flaw being that the purple pad has faded and deteriorated. The case is in stunning condition; there is only one small chip on the edge, the hinges are tight and function correctly. Condition I-
