Mothers Cross in Silver, the Honor Cross of the German Mother 2. Class. Established by Hitler in 1938.  The silver class was awarded to mothers who had given birth to six or seven children for the Fatherland.  One of the prettiest German medals, it was awarded on Mother’s Day and worn around the neck on a long narrow blue and white ribbon.  This example is in great shape, with just a little tarnish around the edges on the back. The ribbon is clean but not full length.  The enamel is unchipped.  Condition I-
