  MB-644 Deutsches Frauenwerk Badge

  Deutsches Frauenwerk badge. Enamel membership badge of the German Women’s Work league. The Deutsches Frauenwerk organization was formed in 1938 because Hitler was aware that women would need to replace men in the workforce as he contemplated armed conflict. This badge is pinback, with the RZM mark. There is also a makers code, but it’s hard to read because the back is tarnished.  Condition II
