T-242 ON HOLD    When is a tinnie not a tinnie? When it’s made out of something else, like paper! Actually of course this isn’t a badge at all, but it is a form of Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation token. This small booklet is part of a series of six that were available during the national street collections in October 1942. This one has the music and lyrics to five “Lieder der Bewegung;” songs of the (Nazi) movement. The staple is missing and the pages are loose.

T-241 ON HOLD    This Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation token booklet was for a national street collection in November 1941, and was part of a series of ten booklets depicting old German fairy tales. This one is “Rumpelstizchen,” which is of course “Rumpelstiltskin.” There are 7 full-page color illustrations inside.

T-238 Reichsparteitag 1938 day badge. Dark gray finish on aluminum pin back badge, with scattered spots of corrosion. Back marked with the firm’s name and location: W. REDO SAARLAUTERN.

T-237 Badge for the national Jugendfest (Youth Festival) in 1936. Stamped pinback badge with the bronze finish deteriorating.

T-224 Luthertag in November 1933. Early badge for the Martin Luther Festival. . Antique silver color finish on thick metal badge. The back has the manufacturer’s mark (Brehmer, Markneukirchen). No swastika appears on this early Third Reich religious festival badge.

T-194 Winterhilfswerk or WHW donation pin. The design shows St. George slaying the dragon. The inscription reads “Sichert den Sieg über Hunger und Kälte – Wir Opfern!” or “Guarantee Victory over Hunger and Cold – We Sacrifice!” Some minor corrosion spots on front and back.

T-178 1. Mai (Nazi Labor Day) 1939 day badge. Black or bright finish on light metal or plastic badge. Have several, all have back marks, my choice (you may not get the one in the photo). All rate condition II or better.
