Back has stamps and special cancellations from Vienna on April 30, 1939; Hitler’s 50th birthday. Posted to and address in Vienna, with “Heil Hitler!” written in the message area. Issued in 1938 for the annexation of the Czech Sudetenland. Unused. Condition Rating: I Price: $22 PK-261 Halftone color postcard for the “Kameradenschaftsblock der Deutschen Reichspost.” Interesting drawing shows a formation with car, airplane, and horse and buggy (commemorating the different ways mail was delivered?). Condition Rating: II Price: $20 PK-240 Half-tone illustrated postcard for the 42nd German Stamp Collecting Day in 1936. The event was apparently held in the city of Lauenstein in Bavaria, since the illustration shows Lauenstein castle. Has a special cancellation over two 3 R.Pfg. stamps. The back is blank. The corners are bumped and there is an address stamp on the front. Condition Rating: I- Price: $18 PK-227 Color photo postcard of a Ju 88 bomber parked at an airfield. The caption says “Junkers Ju 88 Kampfflugzeuge zum Feindflug bereit” = “Junkers Ju 88 combat aircraft ready for the raid.” This is a large size postcard, approximately 5 x 6 ½ inches. The back is blank, and looks like it was glued into an album. The corners are bumped.
